As a Senior Architect in the
Oxford Regional Health Authority (until 1989) Adrian
gained extensive experience in the development and implementation
of health projects throughout the region. Subsequently
he worked as a Health Planner and Architect with D'Arcy
Race Computer Aided Design Consultants and then became
deputy Director of Organisation Management Systems (OMS)
1992-95, before moving to Facilities Planning of Oxford
as Principal.
His experience encompasses
health planning for large hospital estates, space utilisation
and functional suitability surveys, option appraisal
for the rationalisation of major NHS sites, development
of appraisal methodology and potential savings in NHS
estate utilisation, and extensive involvement in estate
strategy and hospital planning and design.
